Geography is a really valuable and inspiring subject because, through its study, pupils encounter different societies and cultures. This helps them to realise how nations rely on each other. It can challenge them to think about their own place in the world, their values and their rights and responsibilities to other people and to the environment. Our aim is to stimulate an awareness and understanding of the natural and human worlds. Pupils develop a knowledge of different places and environments, an understanding of maps, and a range of investigative and problem solving skills both inside and outside the classroom. |
