This week four pupils in Year 4 were awarded the prestigious Pen Licence.
This award is a recognition of the children’s continuous high standard of joined up handwriting and presentation in all subjects across the school.
The decision of who receives this award is carefully discussed and decided upon by Mrs Anderson, their literacy teacher and Mrs Brocklebank, the literacy co-coordinator. It is a great achievement.
Mr Capper relayed, that the students chosen were so excited when they arrived for the presentation to them. The photos show on the faces how delighted they were to receive the licence. It is so important to them as recognition of their care now and in the future.
