On Friday 9th November Year 6 led a special Commemoration service. The children shared information about the significance of this special event, as well as sharing poems they had personally composed. The poems the children had written were very emotive and they delivered them with clarity and courage.
The children really excelled themselves by honouring with sincerity and respect the memory of all those who have lost their lives in wars. It was particularly moving to see every child in Year 6 contribute to the service. They challenged themselves to find their inner confidence by sharing their feelings and emotions with the children of Silverhill, the staff and parents..
