Scylla and the Charybdis

Year 4 are learning about the Ancient Civilisation in Greece and as our theme is Sea Dragons, we have been reading about sea monsters in the Odyssey.

Odysseus has a really tough dilemma around whether, to be honest with the sailors, so we discussed whether the sacrifice of a few makes sense if it helps the many?

Then we went outside and using what we could find we made our own images of the Scylla and the Charybdis.
